WORKS AND WORK STUDIES
Between the Lines (2024)
The fictional telling of a progressive overwhelming obsession with another person, told through the perspective of an unreliable narrator who has grown the belief that this person is an ongoing antagonist in her life. It showcases the feeling of losing yourself in the process of trying to catch up to someone else and their expectations, all of which is fueled by projection and insecurity.
Autophobia (2024)
A work study created at ‘Choreoscape’ (a 2024 choreography intensive with Imprints Dance Company directed by Hannah Millar) ‘Autophobia’ explores the idea of fearing yourself, with the images of someone running through a mirror maze - where they are faced with forceful navigation through a path of self-reflection.
Alice (2024)
Split into two separate sections, Alice introduces the audience into the world - or rather small bubble - of these 12 strangers. We watch as the piece goes from black and white, New York, day job-esque scenery to the dancers going ‘down the rabbit hole’ into their esoteric night life. Here, every one of them seems to be slightly off put by something unbeknownst to the audience, before falling into a mysterious chaos. That being said, who is Alice?
